ADJ Death case: probe intensifies, SIT recreates crime scene

Dhanbad, A special investigation team which is probing the killing of Additional District and Sessions judge Uttam Anand on Saturday reached at the crime spot and recreated the crime scene.
The manner in which the autorickshaw had hit the late judge as per the footage obtained from the CCTV the same scene was created on Saturday. After recreating the crime scene the senior officials also remained on the spot for quite a long time. On Friday the SIT had held marathon meetings at the office of Dhanbad SSP during which both the arrested culprits were also questioned.
On Wednesday morning Judge Uttam Anand was out for morning walk in Dhanbad when he was hit by a speeding autorickshaw from behind. He was later admitted in the hospital where he succumbed 
to the injuries. So far Police has arrested two culprits in connection with the death of the judge.  
Autorickshaw driver Lakhan Verma and his associate Rahul Verma have been arrested in the case. 
The police headquarters has also formed an SIT to investigate the case which is being led by ADG Operations Sanjay Anand Latkar and also includes Bokaro DIG and Dhanbad SSP. 
The forensic team of Dhanbad Police and CID are also involved in the probe. The Jharkhand High Court itself is monitoring the probe.
