The new governor listed the priorities, said – the convenience of the people and the development of the state is the only goal

Ramesh Bais took the oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday afternoon as the tenth Governor of Jharkhand. He was administered the oath of office of the Governor of Jharkhand by the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court, Justice Dr. Ravi Ranjan in a ceremony held at Birsa Mandap located at Raj Bhavan. Earlier, Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh read out the warrant related to the appointment of the Governor by Rashtrapati Bhavan.
After the swearing in, the Governor was also given a guard of honour. After taking oath, he told the media that his only aim would be to work for the convenience of the people of Jharkhand and play a role in the development of Jharkhand.Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Speaker of the Assembly Rabindra Nath Mahto, Member of State Cabinet Alamgir Alam,Rameshwar Oraon, Satyanand Bhokta, Champai Soren, Joba Manjhi, Banna Gupta, Badal Patralekh, MPs Sanjay Seth and Deepak Prakash, Mayor of Ranchi Municipal Corporation Asha Lakra, Judges of Jharkhand High Court, Development Commissioner Arun Singh, Director General of Police Neeraj Sinha, Director General handjob, Home Defense Corps and Fire Fighters MV Rao, Additional Chief Secretary to Governor Shailesh Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajiv Arun Ekka, Principal Secretary, Cabinet and Monitoring Department Vandana Dadel, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Choubey, Vice Chancellors of various universities and other dignitaries were present.
