Godda: Even after four years, compensation has not been received to those who gave land for the construction of 14 km long road from Sugabathan of Podaihat block to Dumaria of Sadar block. In this, there are dozens of ryots of Petvi and Buxara Mauja of Podaihat zone who are deprived of this compensation. However, it is also reported that notices have also been served for compensation to many fake ryots of the region. Now against this, the original ryots are making up their mind to approach the court. The ryots held a meeting on Tuesday and announced to intensify the legal battle against it. Mauja Pradhan of Buxra cum former MLA of Podaihat Prashant Mandal and Mauja Pradhan of Petvi Suresh Mandal told that there are 25 such plots in Petvi and Buxara Mauja, which have been acquired only four years ago, but till now no raiyats have been entitled to compensation. Payment has not been made.

The real ryots include Prashant Kumar, Satchidananda Mandal, Arvind Mandal,A total of 25 ryots including Sunil Mandal, Vijay Mandal, Jaynandan Panjiara, Prakash Panjiara, Rajaram Mandal, Narmadeshwar Prasad, Abhimanyu Kumar, Vijay Kumar are involved, who have to get compensation. But while doing table work on behalf of the District Land Acquisition Branch, notices have been served for compensation to those ryots of Petvi and Buxara Mauja who are neither the owner of the land nor the occupiers. Sachchidanand Mandal told that in the Khatian of 1932, the land is registered in the name of Karthik Mandal. It has stain number 404, 424,The land existing in 426 and 468 has been acquired for road construction. Even after four years of land acquisition, the department has not been able to pay compensation to the original ryots. In this case, Mauja Pradhan of Buxara cum former MLA of Podaiahayat Prashant Mandal has said that the 14 km long Sugabathan to Dumaria road is being constructed at a cost of Rs 54 crore. But till now the compensation for the land acquired for the said path has not been given to the actual ryots, it is a sign of administrative red tape. Against this, now the ryots are going to the court.
